Open Days and Visits
1200 handmade cakes produced for Open Day each year
This year's Open Day falls on Sunday October 8th 2017 - 2.00 - 5.00pm
Open Day is an excellent opportunity for you and your family to see our School, meet current students, current and former parents, and staff, and get answers to any questions you may have about the School. We firmly believe that the best way to choose which school is the right one for your daughter is to come and visit us.
Our staff and girls will be waiting in the Main Reception to greet you from 2.00pm from where you will be escorted on a tour of our impressive facilities by one of the girls. Throughout the afternoon there will be speeches by key members of staff, including the Head, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Prep, and our leadership team of girls, and we strongly urge you to take the time to stop and listen – they will give you a real insight into how we work here. During the day, your daughter will have a chance to view and participate in a number of activities.
After your tour we invite you to join us for tea in the Dining Hall where some of our current and former parents will be on hand to chat through any questions you may have or maybe just to share their experiences with you. We are always humbled and honoured that so many parents willingly support us on Open Day, and we know that it adds a very positive dimension to your visit. Also on hand to answer questions are the Admissions, Finance, and Boarding and Assisted Learning Departments, as well as various members of staff with specific responsibilities within our pastoral system.
Working Open Mornings are held the following two mornings after Open Day, which this year will be Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October. This is a super opportunity to come back and take another look at the School at work or indeed to come and see us for the first time. Again, our girls will be on hand to show you around the School and there will be a chance to chat to our staff and parents over coffee. Timings for these mornings are as follows:
Cadogan House 9.00am - 10.00am
Senior School/Hind House 10.30am -12.00noon (tours available at 11.00am).
Refreshments will be served in the New Mark Hall between 10.00 and 10.30am
For girls wishing to enter our Sixth Form, we shall be holding a Sixth Form Preview Morning on Saturday 15th October from 9.00am.
During the morning, you will have the opportunity to meet current Sixth Formers and key members of staff, as well as the Head. Again, if you would like to visit the School before then, please contact Admissions to arrange a visit.
Of course, if you would like to visit the School at any other time, we would be delighted to offer you and your family an individual tour, and meeting with the Head. Please call the Admissions Office on 01923 725354 or email Admissions to arrange this.
Your daughter can also get to know the School herself by taking part in one of the workshops that we run for prospective girls. For more information about these workshops please contact Admissions
