Sixth Form Boarding
Sixth Form boarders live in Connaught House. The experience of boarding in the Sixth Form is enormously beneficial to girls and excellent preparation for life beyond school. Our boarders move onto university as confident, independent young women who know how to operate a washing machine!
Sixth Form boarding staff are highly experienced and the girls develop a close community and friends for life. Sixth Form boarding allows girls to develop excellent study habits; they have full use of the Resource Centre until 9.00pm each evening. They have the time to commit themselves fully to a whole host of extra-curricular activities and sport. This experience of time management stands them in such good stead when they move onto university where they thrive after a seamless transition.
Sixth Form boarders enjoy working with younger boarders and are key players within the community; above all, they form friendships for life. RMS truly becomes a home from home where they mix with young people from all over the world and are well equipped to enter the inter-connected world of the 21st century.
Our Sixth Form boarders are given considerable freedom as part of their preparation of life after RMS.
We very much appreciate the RMS ethos and the warm and welcoming environment of the school. Year 7 Prospective parent
