When we look back at our own school days, it is often the school trips that remain longest in our memories. The anticipation, the excitement of a coach journey and the prospect of a night away with our friends, and that moment when something that we learn in the classroom comes suddenly to life out of school...
We remember the thrill of school trips and so we include a diverse programme of both day and residential trips for our Pre Prep and Prep girls. Your daughter will learn new skills, experience real world application of clasroom learning, will see history brought to life before her eyes and will learn how to be more independent.
During her years at Cadogan House, your daughter will be offered a number of day trips which are usually connected to a part of the syllabus currently being studied. She will also have the opportunity to take part in three residential trips;
- a three night, four day cross-curricular trip to Shortenills Field Study Centre in Year 4 where girls enhance their geography and science studies
- in Year 5, a five night, six day cross-curricular science, environmental studies, history and geography trip to the Isle of Wight
- and in Year 6, the girls go away for a week on a French language and cultural field trip to Northern France
